Established in 1963 by Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Khalid Alkhaja, Awal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a Bahrain-based company specialising in engineering, manufacturing, contracting, and technical supply. What began as a small maintenance workshop has grown into a multidisciplinary business serving commercial, industrial, and institutional projects across Bahrain and the wider region.

Building on its manufacturing heritage, Awal has developed capabilities spanning commercial kitchen design and fabrication, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) contracting, steel fabrication and metalwork, trading and distribution, and maintenance. Our manufacturing operations produce bespoke stainless steel equipment, refrigeration components, air conditioning coils, and specialised products for building services, including garbage and linen chutes. Through our integrated capabilities, we undertake projects from design and fabrication through supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance.
